1) Good water solubility
Polyacrylamide is easily soluble in water, mostly in the form of aqueous solutions, the formation of hydrogen bonds between water molecules and the polar side groups of polyacrylamide, can be dissolved in water in various percentages.
2) Rheology
Rheology is the characteristics of the flow deformation of the object under the action of external forces, from the point of view of apparent viscosity and shear force, the apparent viscosity of polyacrylamide will decrease when the shear force is increased, but when the shear force is withdrawn, the apparent viscosity will gradually recover with the increase of time.
3) Increase viscosity
Viscosity increase is the effect that polyacrylamide can increase the apparent viscosity of aqueous solution or aqueous dispersion. A increases the viscosity of aqueous phase through its own viscosity, and B polyacrylamide interacts with dispersed phases or compounds in water, which is much higher than the viscosity increase effect of polymer's own viscosity.
4) Dispersion
